Why do you have to be on a certain level to rate ? that is stupid?

  • i tried to rate and they said my level wasnt high enough. how do you get it higher and when???? <0.0> *confused*


  • And yes, it is annoying as hell. "Please contribute, but not too much". Honestly, I can understand not letting newbies rate comments and ask too many questions, but why not allow them to answer?


  • You earn points to increase your levels.

    1- Point per day for logging in.
    2- for answering a question
    10- If your answer is picked as 'Best answer'

    When you look at your little profile thing it will tell you how many points you have and how many more you need to advance to the next level.

    =)


  • Keep answering questions so you can move to the next level...You aren't allowed to rate until you're at level two so that there isn't a higher "thumbs down troll" population.


  • I've always assumed it's to prevent trolls from creating dozens of new accounts and down-rating everything they see.

    It makes a certain amount of sense to not allow people to rate questions until they've been here long enough to be genuine.
