How do you find an agent? I tried googling it but it wasnt any help. If any of you have agents where did you find them? If it was on the interenet please give me the site if you remember. thanks in advance! Start by taking some acting classes. This is will get you really comfortable with acting and you will learn the techniques of acting. Usually the place that you take acting classes at offers a "showcase" after taking a certain amount of classes through that school. A showcase is where agents come and you audition for them. If they like you they call you back and you can sign with them! From then on they represent you and they get you out on auditions. Agents don't cost anything and if they do it is a scam. Agents make their money by taking a small percentage out of what you make. =] Good luck!No that doesn't count as a connection .

Wherever you live . It really isn't that hard or complicated .If your a serious actress, try www.auditions.com for auditions. As for the agent, try CED talent agency.you need connections. its all about who you know and who you blow...If you have a headshot and resume, mail them to agencies in the nearest big city. (You can look up their addresses online or in the local phone book.) Enclose a cover letter saying that you are seeking representation and asking whether they are currently taking on new clients.
An even better bet is to wait until you are going to be acting in a play (or singing at a cabaret, or performing at a comedy club, or appearing live on stage in some other capacity), and mail out your headshot and resume along with invitations for the agents to come and see you perform.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
