What do you think of a Fiat 600?

It's about a 4 hour drive between college and home, so the car needs to be strong enough to drive long distances. I don't know much about it... so can anyone tell me something about this car? Is it a a strong car and okay for long distances?
Any good or bad points? List them here please!
600's now are getting rare and those that are about are either ridiculously high mileage or been sat in storage. Neither is an appealing option for long distance driving.
In terms of comfort...they are a small car to be doing long distances in as well...so not ideal unless you don't feel the need to walk when you arrive at your destination.
On top of that there is the risk of breakdowns. As I mentioned above the 600 are getting rare and rare cars means rare parts...and rare parts generally are hard to source and cost more to buy. The engine is likely to be well run in...which consequently means breakdowns are likely. Hardly advisable if you are 2 hours into your trip!
Good points : little car, classic charm, good for enthusiasts.
Bad points : unlikely to be withstand long distances, not comfortable for long distances, parts hard to find or expensive
Overall I'd say the cons far outweigh the pros...if you are looking for something to travel long distances as you said then you want something a bit newer that is easier to repair/less likely to breakdown. Comfort is really up to personal preference.
Try looking on fiatforum for more info and advice about the 600
But to drive long distances, I don't know, the engine might be high in mileage and the car isn't that comfortable
