  • candidiatis is a yeast infection and can be passed on to others. doesnt' mean you got it from anyone. It is usually treated with monostat 7 (or similar anti yeast, anti fungal drugs) or other over the counter yeast infection drugs. monostat will relieve the itching really quickly.
    then be clean, dry and don't wear constricting clothes in that area. make sure you use the medicine for the full dose. if you have it in more areas then the vaginal area and anal area, such as in the mouth. its like a thrush, you will have to get some nystatin from your doctor and would probably have to have you and your partner treated. there is possibilities of getting this with not having sex with anyone.
    if you suspect you got it from someone, they need to treat themselves.
    you should probably have your doctor or health department help you with that.
    you can get it from, sweat, tight pants, unclean clothes. poor diet that is high in sugar and breads. there is a lot of variables. good luck and i hope this helped you.
