I go to windows defender and i check for definitions update and it says me there are no definition updates why?

  • And i would not trust an answer like the one above,

    who says he's been using it for 4 years and slags it

    off bigtime.....but apparently he is still using it and it

    begs the question.......Why.........

    I really don't know how often it updates ...can't you

    configure it to update automatically...say once a day.


  • Do Not trust Windows Defender!!! In the 4yrs I have been using that program it has no once ever found 1 piece of spyware, tracking cookie or virus! It just takes up space on the hard drive! And is a back door for microsoft to access your computer...


  • It means it has already updated recently. You are safe from Internet threats.
